Whenever I create a kidâs product, it must funnel through 3 requirements (AND THIS IS NO DIFFERENT):
Itâs gotta be written in kid language they actually understandâespecially little unbelievers who are likely very unfamiliar with (essential) terms like sin and resurrection. So letâs break it down for them!
Itâs gotta make them laugh, or at least, giggle. Iâm not sure thereâs another tract out there that opens with âboogersâ⌠âWe all sin-lie, fight, hurt, disobey, pick our boogers (kidding about that last oneđ).â But research shows when we LAUGH, chance of REMEMBERING increase exponentially.
A fun, cute activity paired with it. Us mamas know kids actually need to be DOING something to pay attention. My sister, once teacher turned SAHM, gave me the cut-and-fold-to-reveal-a-hidden-pic idea + when tested on our kids, the younger ones thought it fun to do the âhide-and-seekâ accordion while the older kids used it as a bookmark.â¤ď¸
