Whenever I create a kid’s product, it must funnel through 3 requirements (AND THIS IS NO DIFFERENT):
It’s gotta be written in kid language they actually understand—especially little unbelievers who are likely very unfamiliar with (essential) terms like sin and resurrection. So let’s break it down for them!
It’s gotta make them laugh, or at least, giggle. I’m not sure there’s another tract out there that opens with “boogers”… “We all sin-lie, fight, hurt, disobey, pick our boogers (kidding about that last one😀).” But research shows when we LAUGH, chance of REMEMBERING increase exponentially.
A fun, cute activity paired with it. Us mamas know kids actually need to be DOING something to pay attention. My sister, once teacher turned SAHM, gave me the cut-and-fold-to-reveal-a-hidden-pic idea + when tested on our kids, the younger ones thought it fun to do the “hide-and-seek” accordion while the older kids used it as a bookmark.❤️

I did test-runs with my own kids—9, 7, and 5 (well, Dottie was there—18 months—but she was pretty distracted by the crayons TBH). I’d say this is the perfect range!
